ABOUT INDIAN WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION
The Indian Women Association (IWA) runs under the aegis of the Embassy of India, Moscow, which is one of the largest Indian missions abroad.
The purpose is to promote friendship and social interactions amongst the spouses of India based staff in the Embassy as also the large women diaspora settled in Moscow.
Additionally, the IWA facilitates purposeful interaction among the Members that contributes towards inculcating new skills, personality development and education through visits to places of historical significance, cultural importance etc

Here at Indian Women's Association, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our association upon: support, empowerment and progress of the Indian Community in Moscow.
Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. The Indian Women's Association emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
